On 12th August HMRC published a press release, indicating that they would publish new guidance in late August to explain what customers need to do if they receive a letter from HMRC about being signed up to Making Tax Digital for Income Tax.

Call out boxes and messaging has been added to the step by step guidance pages and sign-up pages for sole traders and landlords and agents.
