Dates now published for compliance on THE SMOKE, HEAT, AND CARBON MONOIXDE ALARMS FOR PRIVATE TENANCIES REGULATIONS (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2024

The following letter has been received from the Housing Division of Department for Communities setting out the dates and information on the compliance for rental properties in relation to THE SMOKE, HEAT, AND CARBON MONOIXDE ALARMS FOR PRIVATE TENANCIES REGULATIONS (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2024

The deadlines for compliance are as follows:
• New tenancies must be compliant from 1 September 2024
• Existing tenancies must be compliant from 1 December 2024.
