Do you want to learn more about and have a say on the future planning policy of Belfast? – Then why not come along to the LANI Meeting  – Wednesday 24 October 2018 at 7pm (sharp) where we will be looking at the Local Development Plan with the help of the Belfast City Council Planning Department

Venue –  Middleton Room, Wellington Park Hotel, 21 Malone Road, Belfast BT9 6RU

Topic – Local Development Plan

Speakers – Dermot O’Kane, Principal Planning Officer and Martyn Smithson, Senior Planning Officer of the Planning Department of Belfast City Council.

The plan contains a large section on housing including the private rented sector so is very relevant to LANI Members.

At this stage in the process, there is a consultation on the draft plan and you can submit your response via a consultation hub. The consultation will close at 5pm on Thursday 15 November 2018. Further information about the plan can be found here:

News Bulletins

We regularly send out news bulletins keeping you up to date with what you need to know.

Community

The opportunity to get to know other people involved in private rentals, make friends and share interests and experiences in a supportive environment.

I joined LANI because I felt I needed more support and information than I had been getting. In attending the General Meetings I have met many other landlords who face the same issues as myself and I have been able to keep myself up to date with the changes taking place.

SP, Lisburn

I joined LANI because it seemed like the most professional body representing landlords in Northern Ireland. I wouldn’t have known about the changes to the landlords rates or saved myself that 15% on all my properties.

LJ, Dungannon

I have found my membership very beneficial. I now belong to an organisation that is dedicated to our profession and which knows the laws and legislation that go along with it. They are able to keep us up to date with impending changes and represent the Private Landlord at many levels of Government.

JMcS, Newcastle

The advice line is brilliant; whenever I have a problem the office staff takes my enquiry and someone gets back to me with the most up-to-date information.
