Email received from HMO Unit this afternoon  Please note that the Application portal will be unavailable from 9am on Tuesday 31 March to 9am 1st April 2026.

Just to make you aware HMO licence fees will be increasing from the 1 April 2026 as follows

  • 3 persons = £930
  • 4 persons = £1240
  • 5 persons = £1550
  • 6 persons = £1860
  • 7 persons = £2170
  • 8 persons = £2480
  • 9 persons = £2790
  • 10 persons = £3100

Each additional persons £310

Additionally the cost of varying a licence will be as follows

Licence Variations
Item Cost
Removing, adding or substituting the managing agent of the HMO £250
Varying the number of persons who are authorised by the licence to occupy the HMO £310 for each new occupant

+ £125 inspection fee (per visit)
